A delightful iridescent glass Soap Bubble lidded glass inkwell from the late 1800s with a brass hinged collar.

Delicate and charming, this piece is a reminder of a more genteel time

Height 4 inch, Width 2.5 inch

Although from the Victorian era, the all round condition of the glass is remarkably good with very minor scuffs and minute ink residue. The brass collar benefits a wonderful aged patina, however it has suffered a closure sprain.
